Description
Loch Ard Gorge is a popular tourist destination on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. It is located in Port Campbell National Park. The gorge was named after a large clipper ship that was shipwrecked on nearby Muttonbird Island in 1878. Fifty-two people lost their lives in the shipwreck. The only two survivors were washed into the safety of this gorge.
