Description
The amazing Butchart Gardens contain an array of different garden settings and styles with an abundance of spectacular floral displays. This photograph shows part of the iconic Sunken Garden. The Butchart Gardens are located near Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. The Gardens were the project of Jennie Butchart as a way of beautifying an abandoned quarry site. Her grandson Ian Ross was given the gardens on his 21st birthday and he worked to make them self-sustaining.
