Artist's Description
Hraunfossar is a stunning series of waterfalls in West Iceland. Hraunfossar is a unique and beautiful sight with countless small waterfalls flowing out of the solidified lava rocks on the edge of the Hallmundarhraun lava field. The water originates from the Langjokull glacier and flows into the Hvita River. Hraunfossar cascades down lava cliffs that cover an area of about 900 meters wide.
