Artist's Description
Pennington Bay is a picturesque, secluded beach on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. The beach is popular for surfing and is a delight for photographers. Kangaroo island is located off the mainland of South Australia, about 112 km southwest of Adelaide. The island is accessible by ferry or plane and is 150 km in length. The island is a sanctuary for wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, Tammar wallabies, echidnas, sea lions, dolphins, fur-seals and an array of birdlife. Amazing coastal scenery is found all around the island, and with a small population of just over 4,000, you are often lucky enough to enjoy it in solitude.
