Ross Fountain was built in 1964 to add to the visitor attractions at Butchart Gardens. The amazing Butchart Gardens contain an array of different garden settings and styles with an abundance of spectacular floral displays and unique features to delight the visitor. The Butchart Gardens are located near Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. The Gardens were the project of Jennie Butchart as a way of beautifying an abandoned quarry site. Her grandson Ian Ross was given the gardens on his 21st birthday and he worked to make them self-sustaining.
