Gondolas and Gondoliers are an iconic sight in romantic Venice. Although gondolas are no longer used as the main mode of transport in Venice, they are a major tourist attraction and most visitors will have it on their must do list. There are now approximately 400 gondoliers licensed to propel the gondolas.
